Geisha is not easy to grow, no matter how you slice it. Especially outside of its birthplace – Ethiopia.
However, Nariño, Colombia seems like the next best place to do so – The high altitude, coupled with the convergence of the three Andean mountain ranges, result in microclimates made for growing light, bright coffee.
Pablo Guerrero’s El Obraje is located outside the city of Pasto, at 2000 meters, and produces an exceptional example of the Geisha variety, with an expressive bouquet of Jasmine, Tangerine, and Honey.
