Give a Luna sub experience. Two unique light roast coffees each month, plus a physical zine putting each coffee set in context. Choose how many deliveries and how much coffee. Paid in full at checkout. Your giftee gets their own portal to manage the subscription, update their address, and view upcoming orders. The subscription expires after the number of deliveries you choose.
Why gift a sub?
The sub is the best way to experience our sourcing program and point of view in the coffeeverse. We love coffee because of course its delicious and complex, but it also intersects countless other complimentary interests like soil, place, fermentation, world logistics and historical context. Two excellent coffees each month, and a coffee focussed zine we write for the coffee person in your life, for however many months you’d like to gift.
How does it work?
How billing works
This gift subscription is paid in full at checkout — one payment, all deliveries included. If you see language about "recurring charges" during checkout, that's standard Shopify wording that applies to all subscription products. For prepaid gift subscriptions, your remaining orders are fulfilled at $0.You will not be charged again.
What's their experience like?
When you gift a subscription, if you ☑︎ 'This is a gift' and fill out their details before adding to cart, your giftee will be emailed on checkout. If you don’t want this, a gift card might be a more flexible gifting option.
Once your giftee has the email, they can log into their own portal to manage the sub, change the address if needed and the pricing will be hidden from them. This is a prepaid gift that expires after the number of shipments you've selected.
When does it ship?
Our subscription is a monthly curated experience. We ship once a month, around the second week of each month. Your giftee’s first shipment depends on when you sign up for them. If you sign up between the 1st to the 10th, their first box will ship the same month. If you sign up after the 12th, their 1st box will arrive the following month. For example if you sign up July 12th, then their first box will ship in August and so on.
What's your sourcing and roasting style?
Our goal is to roast to show each coffee’s acidity, sweetness, and clarity at their very best. You could classify our roast style generally as ‘Nordic light’. We love well done washed coffees. Nothing better than an exceptionally floral 72hr underwater ferment from Gedeb or Guji. We also love working with coffees that challenge the boundaries of what fermenting with yeast (wild or cultivated) can do to flavour. We steer clear of infused coffees. There are producers doing such interesting work with yeasts, beneficial microbes & time and we feel this work is part of terroir. This deserves the spotlight. Occasionally we’ll have a traditional natural or honey process in there, once or twice a year.
