600 smallholder farmers who deliver ripe fruit to Hamasho washing station, managed by Asefa Dukamo Korma.
Asefa Dukamo and Mullugeta Dukamo, are brothers who started Daye Bensa - They've grown over the years to become an absolute powerhouse in Bensa and beyond to their other collection sites, scooping up various Cup Of Excellence accolades along the way. They won twice with their Hamasho lot. Once in 2021 taking home 8th, and the following year taking 2nd. They are incredibly serious about their entire process, which includes their own dry mill. They have SATAKE colour sorting equipment and consider every aspect to make sure they're sending out incredible coffees.

A specific type that is known to thrive in Bensa and surrounding areas of Sidama & bred by Jimma Agricultural Research Centre, officially releasing it as 74158 Landrace in 1974.
