Luna is all about light, bright, delightful coffee and the weird and wonderful world of those who love drinking it. We believe that beautiful ingredients shine brightest in home kitchens, and radical transparency is a path to some of the most exciting coffees in the world.
We roast each week to order for delivery across Canada and the USA, and the second week of each month subscribers get two featured coffees alongside a coffee focussed zine. Whether you’re new to the coffee at home thing, or a shameless coffee nerd, we’ve got some incredible coffee for you.
How do you make a cup of coffee?

It all starts with a green thumb, nice soil, and a tasty variety of coffee you’d like to grow.
Luna is a small maker.
Luis is a small producer.
In a sense, Luis’s business and ours are both defying the commodified systems that exist for coffee. By getting granular (sorry, bad pun) and working on quality and profitability at a small scale, we can all keep making this super delicious treat, and enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoy creating it.
Luis & Esperanza
The Morales family grow mainly Caturra on their 2.5 hectare farm near the Galeras Volcano in Yacuanquer, Nariño in Colombia. Luis is a fermentation & soil nerd in equal measure. Every year he tweaks his process to improve brightness & sweetness in his coffees.
A modern look at sourcing
Coffee is bought & sold using archaic, colonial systems that are working as designed. This is doing farmers no favours. The goal for our tiny but mighty company is to resist these systems and communicate why and how we’re doing that with you.
How did Luna start?
From humble beginnings roasting by night in a friend’s space in East Van back in 2017, to today, in our own stealth roastery near the foothills of Golden Ears outside Vancouver, BC, this tiny yet mighty roastery is independent, and very proud of it.
