Kibingo Natural – Red Bourbon from Kayanza Province in Burundi
With fresh blueberry and malt milkshake vibes, this natural processed Bourbon cultivar was grown and harvested in June 2021, by smallholder farmers who deliver ripe coffee fruit to the Kibingo washing station in the Kayanza Province, Burundi. With the fruit intact, these purple orbs are dried on raised beds for 6-8 weeks, allowing local yeasts the time to transform the coffee through fermentation.
